• Ride Saturday, Sunday, or both (July 30 & 31).
• Meals and Saturday night camping in Carnation provided.
• Participants protected by county ordinance limiting law enforcement collaboration with immigration officials.

The U.S. free trade agreement with Central America (CAFTA) has allowed gold mining companies to sue El Salvador for hundreds of millions of dollars, arguing that the Salvadoran government should not be allowed to protect its environment and people by denying mining permits. Now, the U.S. wants to enact similar agreements with South Korea, Colombia, and Panama – and our Senators and Representatives are supporting these terrible deals! Join us for Solidarity Cycle 2011 to learn more, and to raise money for FAIR trade advocacy efforts in Seattle and El Salvador.El tratado de libre comercio entre EEUU y Centroamérica (CAFTA) ha permitido que compañías mineras demanden cientos de millones de dólares del gobierno Salvadoreño, argumentando que El Salvador no tiene el derecho de rechazar los permisos para la explotación de oro con motívo de proteger su medio ambiente y su pueblo ante esta industria dañosa. Ahora, EEUU quiere implementar tratados similares con Corea del Sur, Colombia y Panamá – ¡y los congresistas del estado de Washington están promoviendo estos tratados horribles! Encuesta de evaluación de Seattle CISPES

Seattle CISPES is evaluating its structures and practices in order to identify ways that we can be more democratic, inclusive, and participatory for people of all backgrounds.Seattle CISPES está evaluando sus estructuras y prácticas para indentificar maneras en que podamos ser una organización más democática, inclusiva, y abierta para todas y todos.

Please help us by responding to an anonymous survey – it will take about 30 minutes. This survey is designed to get us to think collectively about how we can improve the inclusiveness of Seattle CISPES in regards to race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, sexuality, language, class, ability and age identities. Your honesty and openness are greatly appreciated. You will not be asked to include your name in your responses, and in compiling the results of the survey your answers will be kept anonymous. Responses to the survey will be compiled by Rose, a member of the Seattle CISPES Anti-Oppression Sub-Committee who is not otherwise involved in the organization.Por favor, ayudanos en este proceso por contestar una encuesta anónima – se necesita más o menos 30 minutos. Esta encuesta se diseñó para hacernos pensar colectivamente en cómo mejorar la manera en la que Seattle CISPES integra identidades de raza, género, idioma, clase, habilidad y edad.
